چکیده
The phytopathogen Phytophthora parasitica, from the Oomycetes class, known to be tobacco black shank agent, can induce devastating diseases in various crop, plant and forest ecosystems. genus has been studied at cellular level, suggesting that different developmental steps are induced by expression of some specific genes. However, these studies have only carried out on certain species, such as infestans cactorum. As for which considered one top ten oomycete pathogens due economic impact effect it food security, even less functional analyses transcriptomics data available. To date, little is about protein information essential achieving a better understanding this species. In study, we aimed gain insight into proteomics mycelium parasitica strain INRA 310 addressing following questions: (i) how many predicted proteins detected P. 310, (ii) what detected? experiments were performed INRA310, using nanoliquid chromatography-MS/MS technique. A total 219 identified, including unknown 209 involved lipid, carbohydrate, nucleotide, energy production other metabolic pathways. This study is, our knowledge, first 310. It gives brief its vitro-expressed proteins. work may step before further, more comprehensive undertaken with aim biology species pathogenicity.

Phytophthora parasitica: a model oomycete plant pathogen
Oomycetes are eukaryotic microorganisms morphologically similar to but phylogenetically distant from true fungi. Most species in the genus Phytophthora of oomycetes are devastating plant pathogens, causing damages to both agricultural production and natural ecosystems. Tremendous progress has been achieved in recent years in diversity, evolution and lifestyles of oomycete plant pathogens, as we...
متن کاملProbing the Functions of Carbohydrate Binding Modules in the CBEL Protein from the Oomycete Phytophthora parasitica
Oomycetes are microorganisms that are distantly related to true fungi and many members of this phylum are major plant pathogens. Oomycetes express proteins that are able to interact with plant cell wall polysaccharides, such as cellulose. This interaction is thought to be mediated by carbohydrate-binding modules that are classified into CBM family 1 in the CAZy database. In this study, the two ...
متن کاملPhenotypic and genetic characterization of resistance in Arabidopsis thaliana to the oomycete pathogen Phytophthora parasitica
The interaction between Arabidopsis thaliana and the oomycete pathogen Phytophthora parasitica emerges as a model for exploring the molecular basis and evolution of recognition and host defense. Phenotypic variation and genetic analysis is essential to dissect the underlying mechanisms in plant-oomycete interaction. In this study, the reaction phenotypes of 28 A. thaliana accessions to P. paras...
متن کاملSpecialized attachment structure of the fish pathogenic oomycete Saprolegnia parasitica
The secondary cysts of the fish pathogen oomycete Saprolegnia parasitica possess bundles of long hooked hairs that are characteristic to this economically important pathogenic species. Few studies have been carried out on elucidating their specific role in the S. parasitica life cycle and the role they may have in the infection process. We show here their function by employing several strategie...
متن کاملDraft genome of the oomycete pathogen Phytophthora cactorum strain LV007 isolated from European beech (Fagus sylvatica)
Phytophthora cactorum is a broad host range phytopathogenic oomycete. P. cactorum strain LV007 was isolated from a diseased European Beech (Fagus sylvatica) in Malmö, Sweden in 2016. The draft genome of P. cactorum strain LV007 is 67.81 Mb. It contains 15,567 contigs and 21,876 predicted protein-coding genes. As reported for other phytopathogenic Phytophthora species, cytoplasmic effector prote...
